A mind-blowing news story? A flock of sheep devoured 300 kg of cannabis, almost Almyros, Greece. The animals, which live freely, entered a medical cannabis greenhouse after the floods that followed the passage of storm Daniel devastated their usual sources of food.
“We lost 80% of our production due to flooding. While we were trying to save everything we could, we suddenly saw sheep grazing inside the greenhouse”, testifies the owner of the culture, Yannis Bourounis, according to comments reported by the Greek media Skaï. Medical cannabis has been legal in Greece since 2017.
“The problem was how to drive them out of the harvest, because nothing would make them leave”, says the owner again. The sheeps “really like hemp, hash and green vegetables”they “jumped higher than goats”concludes Yannis Bourounis.
