In Cape Canaveral, Florida (United States), hundreds of thousands of curious people made the trip to watch Monday, August 29, the takeoff of a rocket to land on the moon.

In Cape Canaveral (United States) and in the surrounding towns, the enthusiasm is immense around the launch, scheduled for Monday, August 29 in the morning, of a rocket that will head for the moon. “Every American we spoke to told us all, with great emotion and pride in their voices: ‘That’s it, we’re finally going back to the moon'”, says Camille Gutin, in duplex. A pride that is felt with the many visitors to the Florida coast. “Since the space shuttle, there has been nothing so important. Going back to the moon, do you realize how awesome that is?”enthuses a man.

Between 200,000 and 500,000 people are expected to take off on Monday morning. In this restaurant with a view of NASA, the boss has already planned to open earlier. “We are going to have two waitresses on the beach who will offer cocktails and breakfasts in the morning”enthuses Travor Yartsky, manager of the Coconuts on the Beach bar.
