The Louis Armand high school, located in Eaubonne, in the Val d’Oise, is ready to welcome candidates for the 2022 baccalaureate. They are 277, general terminal students, to take the exam in this establishment.

This edition of the baccalaureate is special because it comes after two years disrupted by the Covid and because it is the first time that the new exam formula has been implemented there as imagined by Minister Jean- Michael Blanker. It is therefore no longer philosophy that opens the ball of written tests, but the specialty lessons (the first this Wednesday, the second the next day), each student having taken two throughout the final year. About ten were offered to students at this high school in Val d’Oise, including mathematics, life and earth sciences, economic and social sciences, literature and humanities, history-geo, geopolitics and political science.

The kick-off of the tests will be given this Wednesday at 2 p.m. Until then, the subjects will remain carefully consigned in a safe. “The envelopes will only be opened an hour before, in the presence of a few pupils, so that they can make sure that they were well closed before“, explains the deputy headmaster, Karim Boudjemaï. In June, they will have to face the test of philosophy, then that of the great oral, another novelty of this new format tank. These tests will count for 60% of the final grade, the continuous assessment, covering the first and final years, for 40%.

“At the beginning of the week we organized review sessions with the teachersreports the headmaster, Cédric Mouyen. The students were not obliged to come but a large part came. I found them serene“. A state of mind that contrasts a little with what this educational manager has felt throughout the year: “in the final year, we felt a certain pressure rising. The factors are multiple, health situation, Parcoursup…” However, Cédric Mouyen says he is confident in the success of his students: “they are ready, if i only had one message it would be trust you”.
