The Colmar Christmas market will start an hour later on weekdays for the 2022 edition, and will end earlier. The decision was taken jointly by the exhibitors and the tourist office.
This year, heaters are prohibited in the chalets following the implementation of national regulations. Traders are worried, they dread the cold, but they take note of this new rule.
The gourmet market of the cathedral will close one hour earlier
A reduction in opening hours allows them to stay outside a little shorter, but the reflection with the tourist office also focused more generally on energy savings on the Christmas market. On Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, the markets will open at 11 a.m. instead of 10 a.m. until now. The gourmet market of the cathedral will close its doors every day at 9 p.m. instead of 10 p.m.
The Colmar Christmas market will open on November 24, 2022.
