“I have the impression that today, we want to pass off as racist the simple fact of wanting to make a difference between the French and foreigners,” assures Sarah Knafo, MEP Reconquête. According to her, the Republic has made this difference throughout its history. A member of parliament from the National Rally affirmed that a person with dual nationality could not be a minister.We have the right to say that for certain positions, in certain sectors, dual nationality is not suitable,” she argues.
“When you want to be a minister of France, you can say to yourself that you can give up a passport. When you love a country, you only love that country.”, she says. On social networks, Éric Zemmour was filmed dancing to the song I won’t leave which is considered racist by some. “I don’t believe at all that she is openly xenophobic”concludes Sarah Knafo.
