A motorcyclist lost his life, Saturday July 9 around 10 p.m. in the town of Castanet-Tolosan, south-east of Toulouse (Haute-Garonne). His two-wheeler hit a deer on a secondary road.
Ejected, the driver was thrown onto an oncoming car. Despite the rapid intervention of Haute-Garonne firefighters, the man died. He was in cardiopulmonary arrest when they arrived.
The two passengers in the car were not injured, but very shocked by the accident. The animal has not been found.
