Biodiversity: in Ain, local residents oppose the plan to open a theme park
(France 2)
The upcoming opening of a dinosaur park located in Trévoux (Ain) is divisive. Residents denounce noise pollution and an impact on the environment.
The inhabitants of Trévoux (Ain) wish to preserve a small corner on the banks of the Saône, rich in biodiversity. This is why they strongly oppose the opening of a Dinopedia park, which could drive several protected animal species from their current habitat. Opponents denounce an illegal project. “No planning permission, no environmental study, no impact study“, points out in particular Mr. Nathanaël Duffit-Ménard, member and lawyer of the “Non aux Dinos” collective.
Will the park open its doors?
