In tennis, the Moselle Open is reviewing its schedule. In 2023, the Messin tournament will no longer be scheduled for mid-September, but in November, from 5 to 12. It is a decision of the ATP which wished to dust off its calendar.
Next year, the Moselle Open will be held between two major events on the circuit: the Masters 1000 in Paris and the final of the Masters in Turin, which brings together the eight best players of the season.
A decision welcomed by Julien Boutter, the director of the Moselle Open, who hopes to attract some big names in world tennis to Metz.
This new programming could still evolve in 2024, due to the Olympic Games, organized in Paris.
This year, in 2022, the Moselle tournament will take place from September 18 to 25 at the Arena.
