January 6, 2024 marks the day on which Judith Godrèche managed to free herself from a weight that had haunted her for years. Indeed, on this date, Dany Boon’s ex-partner revealed the name of the director who allegedly abused her when she was still a minor.
“The little girl in me can no longer keep silent about this name”she wrote in an Instagram publication to denounce “the influence” by director Benoît Jacquot on her when she was aged “14 years old”. In the process, Judith Godrèche revealed that the filmmaker Jacques Doillon would also have behaved inappropriately towards her and filed a complaint against him to accuse him of rape, sexual assault and harassment. For his part, Lou Doillon’s father is currently presumed innocent and assures that these were consensual romantic relationships.

Guillaume Canet will have difficulty promoting Benoît Jacquot’s film
Marion Cotillard’s companion was invited on France Inter this Thursday, March 14, 2024, he was questioned about Judith Godrèche’s speech during the last César ceremony and the increasingly important freedom of speech over the years.

Regarding the promotion of his film with Benoît Jacquot, the 50-year-old actor indicates that “the question does not even arise because the film does not have a scheduled release”. And if the feature film were to be released, he recognizes that it would be “especially impossible for [lui] to go and promote this film“given the controversy to which the director is linked.
