Mr. Minister,
I am terribly worried and discouraged. I am writing to you on behalf of all the elderly people who have lost their family doctor. There are many in my circle, I would say 9 out of 10.
Are we now considered “serpuarians”? We pay the same taxes as our neighbors, friends and others who won the Impossible Doctor lottery. Would we be luckier if we bought 6/49 tickets?
What do you intend to do for us who have been paying taxes for over 50 years?
Is there a doctor in the room? If so, please stand up. We are your (im)patients…
Why do you think, Mr. Dubé, that many doctors are turning to the private sector?
I have a solution to propose to you: since we all have the right to a family doctor, well, let’s follow them where they are, that is to say, to the private sector. However, orphan patients should be reimbursed for consultations in this sector, which are extremely expensive.
What should one do to be at the top of the list in this lottery? Do you have any other solutions?
Thank you in advance for your response, and have a nice day.
