A little early, Rania from Jordan celebrated International Women’s Day. On Monday March 7, 2022, the Queen and her husband, King Abdallah II, received several Jordanians for a lunch organized in Amman, at the Al Husseiniya Palace. The opportunity for Rania to unveil a new traditional-inspired outfit, modernized with carefully chosen accessories.
“With Her Majesty today, while hosting a group of women from across Jordan at a lunch to celebrate International Women’s Day. Proud of the women who put love into everything they do!“, the queen wrote on her Instagram account, captioning a photo showing her alongside her husband. For this festive lunch, Rania of Jordan was dressed in a traditional embroidered dress from the Jordanian brand Eman Al Ahmed, brightened up with a pair of white Jennifer Chamandi pumps and a Dara Hamarneh handbag.
As stated in a statement from the Court, quoted by the Jordan TimesAbdallah II insisted on the importance of the role of women in the economic, political and cultural life of the country, declaring that they are “an example of generosity and accomplishments“. The 60-year-old sovereign also stressed the importance of the participation of Jordanian women in the modernization effort that the country is currently making.
