“Imparfaite”: unveiling of the first images of Julie Bélanger’s documentary series

In her personal journey, but also in the hope of helping a loved one, Julie Bélanger felt the urgency to talk about “real business”, and to do so through a documentary series, imperfect.

Having experienced professional burnout in the shadows, the host wanted to give the floor to fellow artists who have gone through the same trials or questions as her, in particular Michel Charrette, Mélanie Maynard, José Gaudet, Ingrid Falaise, Geneviève Brouillette and Maripier Morin.

The first images of the project, which will land on True at the end of May, were also unveiled on Monday.

Throughout its episodes, the series also offers encounters with Dominique Bertrand, Gabrielle Boulianne-Tremblay, Rosalie Vaillancourt, Shirley Théroux, Judi Richards and Édith Butler.

Directed by Maude Éthier-Boutet, the intimate series will be available from May 23 on Vrai.
