Asked about Renaissance’s strategy, the deputy answers : “What is being unraveled is not to please the left wing or the right wing. We are not trying to please the Republicans in the National Assembly either. this text for the moment, they are legislative riders, who have nothing to do in this text.” Ludovic Mendes adds: “The Senate added a lot of things, (…) the minister let it happen because he is in discussion with the Senate.”
