On the occasion of Women’s Rights Day on Wednesday March 8, 2023, Laurent Ruquier focused on the women by his side in his program “Les Grosses têtes” (RTL)… And when introducing Michèle Bernier to listeners , the host released with humor: “A big head that stole Chantal Ladesou’s place in Mask Singer”…. “She took my chair from Mask Singer”, released comedian Chantal Ladesou. And to add: “I’m going to smack you in the face” addressing her rival. Small spikes obviously pronounced in a humorous tone. Moreover, the latter admitted that she did not really excel as an investigator in the program presented by Camille Combal. “She will surely find many more people than me. I didn’t recognize anyone.” admitted Chantal Ladesou.

Two new recruits
As a reminder, a major casting change will take place in the next season of Mask Singer since only comedian Kev Adams, present since the start of the program, and ventriloquist Jeff Panocloc remain.
Chantal Ladesou and Vitaa will be replaced by Michèle Bernier and Élodie Frégé. Two women who have already been a member of a jury on television in the past. And for good reason, Michèle Bernier has regularly commented on the performances of budding comedians on Laurent Ruquier’s show “We only ask to laugh at it”, formerly broadcast on France 2. While for her part, the singer revealed in the “Star Academy” was among the judges of the “New Star” on D8 (renamed C8 since, editor’s note) in 2015 and 2026.
