“I’m going to get burned”, worried about having a stroke, Michel Fugain admits to having already planned everything for his end of life

Like many artists before him, Michel Fugain refuses to leave the stage. At 80, the artist intends to continue to meet his audience by chaining dates. A busy schedule that does not prevent him from thinking about the future and worrying about his health.

Indeed, in an interview granted to the Belgian media “The Last Hour”, Michel Fugain made it known that he was afraid of having a stroke since his father died of a cardiovascular accident in July 2009. “ The only thing that could happen to me on stage is a stroke. We are very stroke in the family. I don’t wish it on myself but here, we are sure that it can happen “, he confided to our colleagues.

During this same interview, the singer also let it be known that he had already seriously thought about his funeral: “I’m going to burn myself and they’ll put my ashes under the olive tree I planted. I want to be under my daughter’s ashes, in the same place, so that it will grow a beautiful olive tree”, did he declare. A beautiful tribute to his daughter Laurette who died 20 years ago at the age of only 22.
