“I’m careful not to…”, Sylvie Tellier takes down Cindy Fabre

Elected Miss France in 2002, Sylvie Tellier became head of the Miss France committee a few years later. But after 15 years spent leading the committee, chaperoning the Misses and co-presenting the ceremony, the pretty blonde was finally ousted by Alexia Laroche-Joubert last year.

A few days before the election of Miss France 2024, Sylvie Tellier speaks in the columns of Leisure TV on these last months of work where she played the role of consultant before leaving her position permanently. Our colleagues asked her what advice she was able to give to her replacement Cindy Fabre before the show.

“None! She never asked me for any during the five months I was in consulting, so I’m careful not to give advice to someone who doesn’t want it. Cindy Fabre will not be co-presenter of the “show and is not the general manager of the company. She has a role that I never had, so I always said that if there was a question, any advice, to call me. But I’m not going to call to give advice. It’s horrible! We must respond to demand and not set ourselves up as guardian of the temple” Sylvie Tellier then responded frankly.

Aware that she has left her mark, the mother then declares: “We will have to give people a little time so that the imprint of director of the Miss boarding school does not fade”.

Finally, Sylvie Tellier spoke about the details of her return since this year she will be president of the election jury : “It didn’t happen in a snap. There were attempts at buzz last year but I got off to a very good start. Accepting this presidency of the jury showed that I was delighted to “having worked for 17 years at Miss France. Certainly I have turned the page, but I remain attached to this brand, this show and the teams”.
