“I’ll break your face”, a violent argument breaks out at Nicolas Sarkozy’s home, Michel Sardou in fury

At 77, Michel Sardou has just left on a concert tour again. On October 3, the singer kicked off his new tour called “I remember a goodbye” and who crossed all of France. After six months of shows, the artist is preparing to finalize this festive period with a final concert which will take place on March 29 in Brest.

“On March 30, I am on vacation, retired. I’m finally going to breathe. This tour is long and tiring. I’m 77 years old! When I come off stage, after two hours, I’m done. And then, the road, the hotels, I can’t take it anymore” the singer recently admitted in the columns of Parisian. Known for his outspokenness and his speeches which sometimes cause controversy, Michel Sardou once again made a name for himself by making a statement during his concert at the Défense Arena in Paris.

“I’m going to sing you a song that we couldn’t write today… A young man who places his hand without consent on a woman’s hand is in direct custody. If he has the audacity to want to put his hand elsewhere, it’s Fleury-Mérogis!” he joked.

Comments which caused an outcry and which Cyril Hanouna addressed this Sunday March 24 on the set of his show “Face à Hanouna”. Today’s guest, Patrick Balkany was invited to give his opinion on the controversy. Against all expectations, the former mayor of Levallois-Perrêt recounted the details of an argument which broke out between Michel Sardou and Johnny Hallyday during Nicolas Sarkozy’s birthday a few years ago. “I’m not greeting you. You’re lucky that we’re at the President of the Republic’s house, otherwise I’d beat the shit out of you.” would have launched the rocker at Michel Sardou.

If Johnny Hallyday was furious that day, it was in particular because Michel Sardou had made several months earlier an inappropriate remark about the rocker’s daughters, namely Jade and Joy. During a concert in 2013, Michel Sardou actually used the term “Vietcong” to refer to the two young girls. Enough to provoke the anger of Johnny Hallyday who never forgave him for these words…
