(Los Angeles) Days after the release of her highly anticipated eighth studio album, Beyoncé will make an appearance at the 2024 iHeartRadio Music Awards on January 1er April, to receive the innovation prize.
Beyoncé will appear at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles to accept the honor during the ceremony hosted by rapper Ludacris.
Beyoncé is recognized for her groundbreaking career: decades of creative risk and large-scale influence on pop culture, as well as her groundbreaking tour Renaissance World Tour from last year.
Ludacris will also perform, in a lineup including Justin Timberlake, Green Day, TLC, Jelly Roll, Lainey Wilson and Tate McRae. Cher will receive the tribute award this year.
Last month, Beyoncé became the first black woman to top the country music chart Billboard with the song Texas Hold’Em.
She earned five nominations for this year’s iHeartRadio Awards, including R&B Artist of the Year and R&B Song of the Year for Cuff It.
Taylor Swift leads the nominations, with nine, followed closely by Jelly Roll, SZA and 21 Savage, with eight, then Olivia Rodrigo, who had seven.
The gala will be broadcast live on Fox channels starting at 8 p.m. It will also be broadcast on iHeartRadio stations across the United States and on the app.
