It’s time to bring out your one-piece suit. After a two-year forced shutdown, the electronic music festival will be back in the snowbanks of the Old Port of Montreal to celebrate its 15e anniversary.
The kickoff will be given by the Australian DJ and producer Flume on January 19th. During the first weekend, we will also see the British duo Camelphat and the American DJ Porter Robinson.
Igloofest unfolds over four weekends, until February 11. In total, there are 68 shows spread over 12 evenings.
Among the 80 guest artists, let’s mention the Frenchman Kavinsky, master of synthwave, the Swiss muse of deep house Nora En Pure, the Belgian rapper Hamza or the Montreal electro-heavy band Black Tiger Sex Machine.
To close its festival, Igloofest has concocted a program around the London band Boiler Room, renowned for making people dance in unlikely places… Tiësto, Ben Böhmer, CRi, Eli & Fur, Olan and Hotto are also part of the poster .
