The Quebec Igloofest Festival proved to be a great success in its first yearbut many electronic music lovers have bad memories of it.
Several festival-goers have been victims of cell phone theft and the Quebec City Police Department confirms having received several complaints to this effect.
A woman told TVA Nouvelles that when she realized that her device was no longer in her possession and that she wanted to report the incident, a police officer told her that she was the 50e anyone to report the same incident.

Thursday morning, the SPVQ was unable to confirm the exact number of citizens who reported a phone theft at Igloofest. One person was apprehended but not arrested.
An investigation is still ongoing in this case.
People who believe they are victims of theft or who have information are invited to contact the Quebec police.
More than 12,000 people came to dance to the rhythms of the festival, between March 2 and 4 on Place Jean-Béliveau.
The organizers have confirmed the holding of a second edition, next year and do not rule out the possibility of stretching the Igloofest Quebec over several weekends, as is the case in Montreal.
