While the Israeli army continues to exert pressure on the West Bank, the UN is calling on the Jewish state to put an end to “unlawful killings”.
The IDF increased raids in Jenin and Ramallah, in the West Bank, on the night of Wednesday December 27 to Thursday December 28. “We are dealing with an enemy who makes no exceptions, assures Majd Al-Qatawi, the cousin of a young Palestinian killed during the strikes. When it directs its weapons at the Palestinian people, its goal is to kill, not to injure.”
A ten million shekel search
Beyond its attacks, the Israeli army also raided several exchange offices in the West Bank and seized ten million shekels, or nearly three million dollars. The Ministry of Defense justifies this act by ensuring that these brands transfer money to Hamas. The UN calls for an end to these “unlawful killings” from the Jewish state.
