The more than 3,100 spectators of the brand new Arena left with a smile! For the first day of the Pro B championship, Saint-Chamond won 90-55 against Aix-Maurienne.
In the lead throughout the game, Alain Thinet’s men widened the gap in the second quarter, winning 26 to 8. Led by a Mathieu Guichard in the legs (8 points in the first quarter), the Couramiauds then managed their lead perfectly. The gap even rose to +38 in the fourth quarter (81-43)! A demonstration full of promise for this new season.
