After 36 years of reigning within Olympique Lyonnais, president Jean-Michel Aulas has left the club, as new owner John Textor announced in a statement on Monday March 8. Starting from the second division, the club will have enjoyed immense success under his presidency.
A great personality of French football is leaving. Jean-Michel Aulas leaves the management of Olympique Lyonnais, 36 years later. The announcement fell by press release, Monday, May 8. The American John Textor, main shareholder, will regain control of the sportsman. “L’OL, it’s him. He made the club rise.
