After missing the podium by seventeen seconds last year and victory by six minutes two years ago, Ian Lipinski won the 13th edition of the Normandy Channel Race with Ambrogio Beccaria this Friday after four days fifteen hours eight minutes and eighteen seconds of racing.
They are ahead of Corentin Douguet and Yoann Richomme at the end of a final where the decision was played on a few details.
“We will remember it all our livessavors Ian Lipinski. The times before, I had often been in the lead and we had been overtaken at the end and here it is rather the opposite. And then it’s amazing. There were a lot of people in the race and we are so proud to have managed to win. I’m not going to say it’s unexpected, but not far.”
