“I would like to be like Mick Jagger at 80 but…”, Vanessa Paradis refuses to quit smoking and explains why

At the dawn of her 51st birthday, Vanessa Paradis continues to enjoy the simple pleasures of life like no other. As proof, during an interview given to the French version of the magazine
Harper’s Bazaar
This month of November 2023, the actress indicated that she was not growing white hair while thinking with nostalgia of the passing of time.

“I can’t say that my relationship with the passing of time, with my image, worries me. And, whatever it is, I work to not care,” she actually confided to our colleagues.

And to add: “As far as I’m concerned, I feel the passage of time more in terms of energy. When we sing and dance while pacing the stage between courtyard and garden, what’s more while smoking nearby, it passes less easily than before, and I see that.”

Simple but guilty pleasures

However, Vanessa Paradis indicated that it was difficult for her to lead a healthier life by depriving herself of nicotine and alcohol in particular: “I would like to be like Mick Jagger at 80, but he doesn’t smoke, doesn’t drink and plays sports several hours a day. Me, I have trouble with discipline, I like the pleasures of life too much to stop the cigarettes and the glass of wine”she admitted.

Confidences which do not prevent Samuel Benchetrit’s companion from being convinced that his addition to cigarettes will one day be a memory: “I’ll stop smoking cigarettes one day, but not to feel beautiful, just to feel good. Afterwards, if it can do both, it’s not any worse…”concluded the beautiful blonde.
