Singer and producer Saint DX is on the bill for the eco-responsible festival “We Love Green”, Saturday June 1st. Before going on stage, he looked back on his career on the set of 12/13 info.
Saint DX sings on Saturday June 1st on the stage of the We Love Green festival. On the set of 12/13 info, he said to himself “very sensitive” to the ecological subjects covered by the festival. Rocked by the music of the 1980s, Saint DX was inspired by it: his pseudonym is taken from Yamaha’s DX7 synthesizers “who revolutionized music from 1983”. “When I started Saint DX, I needed to go back to my childhood, to those sounds that moved and overwhelmed me so much when I was little”he confides.
The one who also worked with Damso and Charlotte Gainsbourg finds his greatest pleasure in the scene. “That’s where I feel most at home. (…) That’s why I make music”, he explains. He adds feeling “an adrenaline rush, an extremely strong discharge of emotion, you always want to go back. I would like to be able to play until I’m exhausted.” Saint DX hopes to meet people at the festival who have not yet heard his music.
