“I will not have anything imposed on me, at any price, by the government”, said Tuesday, May 2 on franceinfo, Dominique Carlac’h, candidate for the presidency of Medef. The election takes place on July 5 and 6, 2023. After the enactment of the pension reform, “the government will be keen to give pledges on things for which it will not pay the bill”she believes.

“We are going to have a double pressure, both pressure from the government and both pressure from the inter-union”, explains Dominique Carlac’h. On the same model as the inter-union, it wants a “inter-employer” to make proposals “to companies so that they are attractive, but remain competitive”.

The senior index is “a bad idea”

The senior index, proposed then rejected during the pension reform, could be reinstated in the next labor law. “It’s a bad idea and it won’t create more senior jobs”says Dominique Carlac’h. “We just have to commit to supporting the retraining of seniors and the adaptation to work of seniors”she continues.
