The actor, humorist and columnist, Willy Rovelli, known to the general public thanks to his extravagant characters of sheriff or cook on France 2 in “Fort Boyard”, hosts the show “On n’est pas à shelter from putting on a good show” from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.

Last June, France 3 broadcast the pilot of a television version of its daily radio show, entitled, “Willy Rovelli comes to lunch at your house”. An unexpected broadcast and success which will allow viewers and listeners to find the host seated at artisan bakers, cheese makers, restaurateurs, throughout France, every Saturday at 12:55 p.m. “It was one of my wishes,” explains Willy Rovelli, “We are lucky with France Bleu to be everywhere. There are 44 locals. I want to be in contact with people.”

Go meet people

The idea of “definitely do the broadcasts at home” is launched one day on the airwaves and the answers are not long in coming, “I thought we would have three, four responses maximum and we received 200 emails during the day”he says. “I like small artisans who get up very early. They work, they whip. That’s what interests me. Showing the ups and downs without being miserable”, he confides. We will therefore see him milking cows, making bread or even cleaning in a hotel. A very special moment for him: “It touched me a little because my mother did it for a long time when I was a kid.”

A dive into the daily life of the French which marks the rapprochement between France Bleu and France 3 and which will make Willy Rovelli fans wait until the new season of “Fort Boyard”, of which he will again host the second part of the evening, “Fort Boyard, always stronger!”, and which promises change according to him, “I’ve gained some ground. He’s no longer sheriff, he’s going back to his kitchen… You’ll see!”
