This Tuesday, February 21, 2023, Laurent Kérusoré was the guest of Jordan de Luxe on his show At Jordan’s. An opportunity for the star of More beautiful life to come back to the cessation of the cult series of France 3 after 15 years of good and loyal service, but also to his sexual orientation. Openly gay, the 48-year-old actor has never hidden his attraction to men. An attraction that his father had a hard time accepting. “People came to my parents’ garden saying: ‘It’s here Plus Belle La Vie’. My father, I was not close, in terms of character we did not agree! When I told him that I was gay, he said to me: ‘I prefer that you leave the house because otherwise I will tell you things that I don’t mean!’ I haven’t seen him for a year, these are family stories”he confided.

Laurent Kérusoré came out at 23
This is not the first time that the star actor of More beautiful life indulged in the unexpected reaction of his father. In 2014, he explained in particular, in the columns of Tele-Leisureto have discovered his homosexuality “quite late” since it was at 23 that he made his coming out. If he grew up “in a rather liberal environment”, he certainly didn’t expect his father to kick him out. “For me, it was a change and not a huge thing. But my parents didn’t experience things like that at all. My father kindly kicked me out, I mean kindly, saying to myself: ‘I prefer you leave before I say things I don’t mean about something I don’t know’.” And to conclude: “It took them a little over a year to get used to the idea, and I certainly didn’t force things.”
