On the radio on France Inter but also on television in the broadcasts We are live and Elysee 2022 : here’s something to load Léa Salamé’s diary! The 42-year-old journalist, however, appreciates the chance that is hers to be able to pursue a fine career of this type. However, this involves some sacrifices, starting with her life as a strongly impacted mother.
Asked by TV Magazine, Léa Salamé has readily recognized that this media omnipresence causes him harm in his family life. “It’s been seven years since I’ve been here with my son. [elle est devenue maman en 2017 d’un petit garçon prénommé Gabriel, NDLR] and my stepson for breakfast… It hurts my heart and it’s very hard (…) I don’t know if I’ll be back next season [à la matinale de France Inter, qu’elle co-anime avec Nicolas Demorand, NDLR]. I am at the end of the cycle and I leave myself the possibility of changing things“, she says. The journalist wants to continue to practice her profession but admits to wanting a “lighter register“in the style of the show she hosts with Laurent Ruquier in the evening on France 2.
Léa Salamé, in a relationship with politician Raphaël Glucksmann, wants to slow down the pace next season to be able to find free time with her clan. “I made a pact with the children telling them that I will be more absent this year because of the presidential election, and I promised them that I would be more available once this election was over.. It’s my choice, I can’t complain and I’m not going to whine, because there are jobs much more difficult than mine“, recognizes the journalist. “Next year I’m sure I’ll let things go“, she adds. France Inter – which will have a new boss next season – should it prepare to find a replacement for the antenna?
