This Wednesday, November 15, 2023, M6 broadcasts a new episode of Best Pastry Chef. A new title entitled The good, the bad and the greedy in which the candidates will travel to the United States. Indeed, Cyril Lignac and his sidekick Mercotte will invite their protégés to revisit the brownie, one of the legendary desserts of the American East. Exit this first test, Mercotte will challenge them to “reproduce a Tornado Cake after having only tasted a bite of a cake previously baked for them”reports Télé-Loisirs. Finally, pastry chefs will have to create “a trompe l’oeil on the theme of the western” before moving on to the eliminations. An evening full of twists and turns!
A few hours before the broadcast, Thibault, flagship candidate of season 12, took to his social networks to share a memory from the previous week dedicated to the theme of childhood. “Week 9 – The dirty kids”he wrote on Instagram before adding: “A good week, which ended with a cake that was a little too ambitious, I dabbled with drawn sugar and obviously it can’t be improvised. Fortunately the first test went better!” And to conclude by meeting the viewers: “We’ll see you tomorrow, in good shape, for a little trip to the far west.” A publication which sparked strong reactions.

Eyes of love
For good reason, in the image posted online by the young man with a degree in nutrition, Marie Portolano, the host of the show, stares intensely at the candidate who, for her part, smiles with all her teeth. A look which did not fail to make the star of Telematin who was quick to comment: “I look at you with loving eyes when in fact I’m saying to myself, ‘I can’t wait for him to leave the tent’.” A message full of humor!
