This Monday, October 27, 2022, TF1 kicks off its new mini-series Addicted. A fiction in which Cécile Bois notably gives the reply to Medi Sadoun and Sagamore Stévenin. For the occasion, the 50-year-old actress gave an interview to Gala. And she revealed that Elodie’s story echoes a bit of one of her love stories.
The charming blonde assures that she has “not much in common” with his character ofAddicted and welcome it. “Moreover, I even believe that I try to move away from what I can be me when I interpret a role. If I had to make characters that look like me every time I’m playing me, so it’s not that much fun. I already have to put up with myself 24 hours a day so let me be someone else when I play! (Laughs)“, she confided to our colleagues from Gala.
But Cécile Bois concedes that like Elodie, she has already been under the influence of a man when she was “young enough“.”I think it could have been possible because I was quite naive. I knew how to put an end to it. In my opinion, this person did this to keep me, more than perversion. It was enough for another man to pass by saying to me ‘you are beautiful, you are intelligent, you have talent’ and suddenly, with the same naivety, I turned around on this man, telling myself that it was better. It ended like this“, she confided. We do not know how long this situation lasted, but what is certain is that she does not regret this story at all. She indeed has it “trained in life and [son] relation to each other in a couple“. Thus, she has “more make that mistake again” afterwards. “I even detected it in other people, in behavior or words. I was able to talk about it with some women friends, with kindness and humility. It is not a question of sex, since I have also seen men being copiously manipulated by women. Now I have a radar for this kind of behavior in couples“, she continued.
Today, Cécile Bois lives the perfect love with the French actor Jean-Pierre Michaël, whom she met on the set of an episode of Josephine, guardian angel. Both had two daughters (ages 13 and 11) and married in 2016.
