It is especially Nathalie Marquay Pernaut who talks about him, a year and a half after his death, on social networks, in the media, or in books (her latest, “A sign of you. His soul guides my steps”, has just been released in bookstores). But Jean-Pierre Pernaut also had an ex-wife, Dominique Bonnet with whom he had two children, Julia (born in 1978) and Olivier (born in 1981), and whom he married in 1983 before divorcing in early 2000s.
“I never stopped Jean-Pierre from seeing his ex-wife“
In an interview with Télé Loisirs, the former Miss France who shared her life for 15 years, and until her death, paid tribute to the latter. She assured our colleagues: “I never stopped Jean-Pierre from seeing his ex-wife, there was no problem. He had a first wife, he had two children and it was normal for them to be part of his life. And then he introduced me to his children, it went very well“.
Herself the mother of two of the TV host’s children, Lou (born in 2002) and Tom (born in 2003), Nathalie Marquay Pernaut ensures that there was no inheritance war within the family, at the death of Jean-Pierre Pernaut, as there may have been among the Hallydays, at the death of Johnny, or even as it seems to be happening among the Delons, while Alain is in very bad shape posture…
“We did not wrong a child“
Regarding what the presenter of the 1 p.m. news had decided, his widow assures: “Regarding inheritance, I talked a lot about it with Jean-Pierre. Everything was well settled and everything was fair. For everyone ! We didn’t harm a child. I respected all his wishes and I am sure that, from up there, he is proud of everything I did“.
