Marie-Angèle Domèce, who disappeared on July 8, 1988 and whose body was never found, lived in a home in Auxerre where she was friends with Angélique Lamaille. “For years, we have been looking for answers. They didn’t believe us at the time, they pushed us aside, since we were house girls. We were numbers, we were taken, excuse me. me the term, for shit, I am very angry with the justice of Auxerre”, confides Angélique Lamaille, very moved. When her friend disappeared, Angélique Lamaille remembers having “look for” where they had their “habits both. It was very hard and when you see that the justice system in Auxerre does nothing, it’s difficult.”
“An angel that no one can forget”
Marie-Angèle “she was an angel, that no one will be able to forget. We had almost the same story, and that’s what brought us closer. She was a very calm, very sweet personremembers Angélique Lamaille. The first time I arrived at the home, I will always remember, she had a smile, she was the person I started talking to. She was a shy and very withdrawn person but she was a ray of sunshine, for me she was my sister. You can’t forget a person like that.”
Friday, she will testify in front of Monique Olivier. “I’m very stressed, I’m afraid when the truth will come out. All I ask is that the truth be told and that his body be found, because we can’t mourn. I don’t even sleep anymore, it’s hard”she confides.
“There were a lot of dysfunctions and I hope that we will be listened to, in memory of Marie-Angèle, Estelle Mouzin and Joanna Parrish.”Angélique Lamaille, Marie-Angèle Domèce’s best friend
According to her, “justice was too slow, they should have had the trial before. Because the other rot [Michel Fourniret] is dead. I don’t know how she [Monique Olivier] is going to be at trial. These people are monsters, but why did the Auxerre justice system do nothing? For what ? I have hatred in me. We can’t turn the page, we live with it. How do you want us to rebuild ourselves?”
