A few months before the presidential election, France 2 offers a great evening to highlight women and men bearers of innovative and concrete ideas, far from the usual main themes of political debates.
Hosted by Julian Bugier, this program makes a new contribution to the citizen and democratic debate, by allowing viewers and Internet users to express their views on proposals arising from daily concerns of the French. Very often local, relevant initiatives which respond to issues shared by a large number of our fellow citizens.
Improve purchasing power, fight against inequalities or the desertification of territories, act on the environment, break the isolation of the most fragile: so many subjects and ideas that speak to everyone and that will be honored and debated throughout this event evening.
Alongside Julian Bugier and in public
• Women and men from all over France, bearers of concrete proposals.
• An “ideas office” composed of personalities from civil society, or who have exercised public responsibilities. They will listen to these French people who bring ideas, will dialogue with them, question them and assess the feasibility of their proposals by provoking debate.
• The audience on stage, made up of 120 French women and men, will also be able to react and challenge the carriers of ideas.
• Guests will participate in this evening event, including Pauline Déroulède, wheelchair tennis champion, who lost her leg after being struck by a 92-year-old motorist. Today, she wants to improve the driving license.
Social networks strongly mobilized
Internet users will be consulted on France 2’s social networks (Twitter, Facebook and Instagram accounts) in the form of a survey in order to choose the big ideas that will be put forward in the show.
The Chronicle “An idea for France” in Julian Bugier’s 1pm newscast will feature the most popular ideas.
