Invited to the microphone of Europe 1 to talk about his program Sunday in the countrysidebroadcast on weekends on France 2, Frédéric Lopez, interviewed by Isabelle Morizet in the program There is only one life in life on Europe 1, spoke of his father and his complicated childhood since he was abused.
“I grew up in fear“said the one who now replaces Michel Drucker on the second channel. “It has lifelong consequences“, he added. Speaking with reserve because he is not the type to talk about his private life too much or to want to make people cry in the cottages, Frédéric Lopez also made it known that he does not “wished no one to experience what[il] lived“. However, Victor’s dad forgave his father, now 80 years old. In fact, as he explains, he “changed look” this “which is troubling” as he says. Frédéric Lopez has indeed gone from anger to empathy.
“I could say that he is one of the most attentive people, as far as I am concerned. It’s quite incredible and it was unimaginable for me to imagine that because indeed in childhood, he was someone who was very tough“, he loose even today.
As recalled by the Europe 1 site, this is not the first time that Frédéric Lopez has mentioned his past. “I was not a wanted child. My mother gave birth to me at 16 in the greatest secrecy. My father went back to Morocco before coming back when I was two years old to do his duty. I had the face of constraint“, he had told the magazine We both. And to add:I understood that my parents had done what they could. I also understood what mistreatment my father had suffered. (…) I am no longer afraid of him.“
Frédéric Lopez is himself the father of a child named Victor and with whom he is developing a YouTube format entitled You’ll love it and which will probably be online from January. “My son and one of his friends will introduce people of their generation that I didn’t know existed. In return, I will introduce them to personalities they don’t know, such as shrinks Boris Cyrulnik and Christophe André”he announced.
