A passage in 2024 that Candice unfortunately celebrated outside the walls of the castle of Dammarie-les-Lys… Nominated numerous times since the start of the competition, the young singer finally left the adventure at the end of the ninth premium of the star Academy

“Hello guys. I just got my phone back. It’s crazy! I’m discovering everything little by little. For now, I’m taking the time to rest, to find my loved ones and I’m recovering from my emotions . I’m so happy and grateful to have been able to experience this adventure and to have come this far. I see all your messages and I thank you, it makes me so happy.” Candice posted the day after her elimination.
An adventure which was unfortunately marked by health problems. Indeed, during her last days in the castle, the southerner suffered from an ear infection as well as a throat problem. “I don’t hear anything… Well, I don’t hear much,” she confided before her last evaluation against Michael Goldman.

“I treat myself”
Health problems that Candice has once again detailed. During an interview given to Gala
this Tuesday, January 2, 2024, the latter indeed explained what she was suffering from: “I have an ear infection and something else in my throat, but I don’t know what it is. I’m taking care of myself, that’s what matters.”she indicated.
And to add: “It’s true that it was debilitating in the end not to hear and not to be able to sing with all my abilities, but that’s the game, I should have covered my throat a little more.”
