“I break my head less in comedy than in song”

She didn’t win The Voice in 2013 but the big winner of this season is her. Louane is today a key figure in French song and she is also gradually establishing herself as a confirmed actress. After shooting in three films for the cinema, including The Aries family which won her the César for best female hope in 2015, she is now the heroine of a TV series. She plays Sarah, a child psychiatrist, in Visions on TF1, a thriller against a fantastic backdrop.

It all starts with the disappearance of a little girl during a birthday party. The young Diego, 8 years old, has flashes on this party, which Sarah will try to decipher: “We are quite different, my character and I. She is calm, a little discreet, composed. She is a soothing but not appeased woman. Me, of course, I am not soothing! Soothed, it depends on the day “, says Louane on franceinfo. On the other hand, it is with Diego that she found common points, him the child who has a gift of medium, she is diagnosed hyperactive a few years ago: “The difference is something that I know well. It’s a strength and that’s what my character tries to make Diego’s character understand. The difference is not a defect, on the contrary, it allows to see the world differently and to do sometimes incredible things.” says Louane.

“My life is amazing! Honestly, I’m so lucky. I realized my dream as a little girl by becoming a singer, I’m full of gratitude for it every day, it never leaves me. I’m really, really happy.”

Passionate about her profession, Louane is also more and more passionate about comedy: “I don’t want to stop. I even want to shoot more. But I see it as a game, it allows me to breathe. Even if it’s a lot of work, I break my head less in a film or a series than when I make music”. claims Louane. Currently in the studio to record her fourth album, Louane has also just recorded the first episodes of the next season of The Voice Kidswhere she will be a coach for the first time: “What an incredible experience! So cool to do that with the children. I admit that I looked for my legitimacy a little at the beginning. I am a singer, not a teacher. I can’t wait for it to be broadcast and to do the sequel before the end of the year.” concludes Louane.
