Prosecuted in a rape case after a complaint filed by actress Charlotte Arnould in 2018, Gérard Depardieu is again accused of sexual violence. This Tuesday, April 11, 2023, Mediapart published a long investigation in which 13 women testified. Among them, a certain Florence returns to the inappropriate behavior of the actor. According to her, the facts would have taken place in 2008 on the set of the feature film Hello Goodbye. Seeing the young woman arrive, the French cinema giant would have launched: “Ah those small breasts” before putting “his hand between his legs” and add: “I’m going to lick your little pussy” and ask him: “Do you like getting the puck smashed?” Particularly vulgar words spoken in front of the entire film crew who would not have reacted.
Faced with these accusations, Gérard Depardieu denied the claims of the victims through his lawyers. According to them, the actor “does not intend to respond to this veritable indictment, which jumbles up very diverse subjects, some of which are based on very subjective assessments and/or moral judgments”. He denies “formally all the charges likely to fall under criminal law”, and denies being “a predator”.
