Stella Dupont, former member of Ensemble pour la République, was the guest of “4 Vérités” on France 2, Friday October 4.

MP Stella Dupont announced this week that she was leaving the Ensemble pour la République group, led by Gabriel Attal. She is the fourth to make this choice. Invited on the “4 Vérités” set, Friday October 4, she recalls that she is “a center-left woman, from Barbara Pompili’s En Commun political party. It’s true that this sensitivity is very close to my heart, throughout my political career, it follows me and it lives in me somewhere”.

The elected official adds that the appointment of Michel Barnier to the post of Prime Minister had challenged her. “I expressed it. His positions in 2021 and 2022 mark a hard-right position, and the fact that he is soliciting very right-wing or even reactionary personalities in his government on societal issues, to the point that he himself had to hammer home the fact that we would not touch PMA, that we would not touch abortion” participated in its decision.
