“It is not by discarding or defeating the opponent that we absolve ourselves of our own responsibilities”, denounces Patrick Kanner. The senator recognizes that Amélie Oudéa-Castéra “today accumulates a series of black clouds on his head” and wonders “how long can it last”.

A balance of forces

“For several years, we have been confronting the presidents of federations with ministers who, perhaps, do not have sufficient authorityanalyzes the former Minister of Sports. It is Mr. Macron who determined the relationship between his ministers and the federations.”, he continues. For him, sport is “an important public policy and you have to be spot on”. He recalls that “the federations in question have a public service delegation, so they must be accountable to the State”.
