Hydro-Québec has decided to resume wind development, entrusted until now to private developers.
The objective is to develop larger and more cost-effective projects to meet Quebec’s growing energy needs. Quebec has developed 4,000 megawatts of wind energy over the past 20 years. Hydro now wants an additional 10,000 megawatts in ten years.
