Hugo Pralus, the passion for pastry and the garden

At the house of Pralusfrom father to son, the passion for cocoa and quality pastries is a family affair that is constantly growing.

It was Auguste, Hugo’s grandfather, who created the famous Pralinetasty Roannaise brioche with pralines.

François, Auguste’s son brings his passion for cocoa there by creating his own plantation of cocoa trees in Madagascar which will give birth to around twenty pure crus of excellence.

Hugo, grandson of the first, son of the second, a pastry chef passionate about permaculture and ecological gardening, enriches the history and fertilizes the notoriety of Maison Pralus today by creating in 2017 a shared garden at the back of the chocolate factory.

Yes at Les Pralus, from father to son we have a taste for excellence and sharing. And, the story is certainly not over…
