Originally from Metz, comedian Hugo Becker is back on these lands this Friday, January 27 for the launch of the second season of the series “I promise you”, broadcast every Monday on TF1 from January 31.
He is Paul Gallo, patriarch of the family whose adventures we follow, in this adaptation of the hit American series This is Us.

This Friday, the actor was the first guest of the Rencontres Informelles des Paraiges in Metz before presenting, this evening, in preview at the cinema Le Klub, the second season of the series “I promise you”. The occasion of answer a few questions at the France Bleu microphone of Annaïg Haute.
An extraordinary journey
A real jack-of-all-trades, the 35-year-old actor has already played in about twenty films, he notably gave the reply to Vincent Elbaz in The Assault or to Albert Dupontel in the thriller The prey.
He also distinguished himself in the american series gossip girl where he played the role of Prince Louis Grimaldi, in about twenty episodes.
But also in many French series : Black Baron, Ten Percents or, more recently, Diana of Poitiers by Josée Dayan, which should be released this year.
Switch to the other side of the camera, he will direct several video clips such as for Damien Saez or Marina Kaye, short films and a first feature film The Night just before the forests in 2017.
His latest movie “The Last Voyage” – released in May 2021, the day of the reopening of cinemas – propels him into an astronaut alongside Jean Reno.
