Hugo Auradou selected in the 23 players of the Pau Section for the match in Perpignan

Second row Hugo Auradou, still being prosecuted for rape in Argentina, is among the 23 players from the Pau Section selected for the match in Perpignan on Saturday, reports France Bleu Béarn Bigorre on Friday October 4.

He will potentially start for the 5th day of the Top 14 rugby because nothing prevents him legally, the Argentine justice having decided to release Hugo Auradou and Oscar Jégou on August 12, and the possibility of their return to France on September 3. The two players are nevertheless still being prosecuted for “violent gang rape” on the night of July 6 to 7 in Mendoza, while the players were on tour with the XV of France.

Hugo Auradou resumed training at the Section Paloise on September 9. The staff of the Section Paloise finally made the choice to retain 2nd line Hugo Auradou for the next match. The 21-year-old was seen training this Friday with the group selected to play against Perpignan on Saturday. He wore a blue chasuble, like all the starters present at training, noted France Bleu Béarn Bigorre.
