This is the 33rd School Press and Media Week. The opportunity for franceinfo junior to take an interest in the underside of the profession of journalist and the issues around information, with regard to current events in Ukraine.
First episode Monday, March 21 with the work of a war reporter: schoolchildren ask their questions to Omar Ouahmane, reporter for the international editorial staff of Radio France, present in Ukraine at the beginning of March. Kaelan, Diza-Linda and Liyam are students in CE2-CM2 class at the Etienne Dolet school in Alfortville in the Val-de-Marne.
The first question goes to Kaelan: “Is it hard to be a reporter in Ukraine? And if so, do you have to watch out for tanks, bombs, tanks and Russians?” The opportunity for the journalist to detail his reporting conditions and the difficulties of working on a terrain at war. Diza-Linda then wonders, for example, if the reporter is afraid of being injured or bombarded by the Russians.
