Heredity can play a role in our mental health!
Be in good physical health!
Physical exercise is not only good for the organs or for the line, it also has a very positive impact on morale. Being active helps to secrete hormones linked to well-being and relaxation such as serotonin, dopamine and endorphin. Sport improves mood and makes you more resistant to the stress of everyday life. Breathing exercises and meditation are excellent for calming down and refocusing on yourself.
get enough sleep
For an adult, it is recommended to sleep at least 7h to 9h per night. Being deprived or deprived of sleep makes you irritable and can create concentration problems, for example.
take time to eat
Eating healthy foods that you enjoy will give you pleasure, as long as you don’t eat on the run! Take the time to sit down and enjoy your meals.
Reduce your consumption of alcohol and tobacco
Studies have shown that quitting smoking will reduce anxiety and depression. Stopping alcohol improves brain health in the short and long term: controlling attitudes and unforeseen situations. Some damage is irreparable.
Be/stay socially active
Surround yourself with good people, be it family member or your friends or even co-workers. It is important not to isolate yourself. Be positive and you will attract positive!
