As is often the case during school holidays, the stars of information also take well-deserved time off. This is the case of Anne-Sophie Lapix who was absent, the last week of October, from the 20 hours of France 2, but also of Marie-Sophie Lacarrau. The star of the 1 p.m. of the first channel is replaced, as usual, by his joker Jacques Legros. On November 1, its midday edition garnered 5.22 million viewers. TF1 thus saw its market share reach 38.6% with the general public. Above all, the former replacement for Jean-Pierre Pernaut allowed the channel to maintain a good margin ahead of its rival from France 2, by gaining another 1.5 points compared to Marie-Sophie Lacarrau on Tuesday, October 25. For his part, Julian Bugier lost almost two points to his replacement Nathanaël de Rincquensen, whom he had replaced last week.
Scores that should delight Jacques Legros, always very popular with TF1 followers. When she returned last September, Marie-Sophie Lacarrau had also come under heavy criticism from viewers who preferred her joker. “Let it break!”, “With less than 40%, our JPP must be turning in its grave!”, “I’m happy to get back to work tomorrow. I will no longer have to put up with Marie-Sophie Lacarrau’s soft and insipid presentation. Jacques Legros is so much nicer!”, “Please give Mrs. Lacarrau some oxygen… I have the impression that she is trying to break an apnea record!“, “Give us back Jacques Legros!” had deplored some disgruntled people on Twitter.
Scores which indicate that TF1 viewers did not want Jacques Legros, following his remarks concerning Jean-Pierre Pernaut who had nevertheless outraged many fans of the journalist who has now disappeared.
