how public and high school student votes are handled

With the screening of the latest film in competition at the Sarlat Film Festival, France Bleu Périgord takes you behind the scenes of the votes that will designate the Grand Prix de la Salamander d’Or. 14 volunteers are in charge of this precious mission. Several teams are planned in a day on 3-hour sessions including the reception of the spectators with the delivery of the ballots, the recovery of these ballots at the end of the screening and the debate with the film crew then direction a discreet office of Le Rex cinema where all the votes are counted.
The many ballots (nearly 3/5 of the spectators vote during a session) are counted and carefully guarded. A statement is sent to the festival organizers mentioning the overall number of votes for each film in competition and the details of the votes with the distribution of the scores from 1 to 5.
