This Sunday, November 19, 2023, TF1 broadcast a new issue of Seven to Eight. In this new release, Audrey Crespo-Mara received Pierre Arditi. An opportunity for the 78-year-old actor to look back on his latest misadventure. Last September, in full performance of the play Rabbit by Samuel Benchetrit, the actor suffered from illness. Following various medical examinations, the findings indicated that it was vagal discomfort accompanied by hypoglycemia.
At his worst, Evelyne Bouix’s husband was therefore obliged to take a break. Back on his feet, the actor was able to return to the stage this month. “I am alive, there is nothing more wonderful than life”, he said with pride before talking about the famous evening. “In an instant, in a fraction of a second, I felt that I was losing my footing. The text, everything… Life! It was extinguished. I was extinguished! I I just remember that I collapsed in the arms of Muriel Robin who wasn’t asking for so much, the unfortunate girl!”

“I’m still 18 and a half”
Taken to the hospital, it’s surrounded by “(s) has wife, (s) has son, (s) has almost-daughter Salomé (daughter ofEvelyne Bouix editor’s note)” that Pierre Arditi regained consciousness. “It was explained to me that I had to be reasonable and that I had to temporarily stop this admirable profession”, he clarified. “That didn’t mean I wasn’t going to do it anymore, just that I let it all sit in the pot.”
“I simply remember that I collapsed in the arms of Muriel Robin who was not asking for so much!” The look of Pierre Arditi, 78 years old, has lost none of its malice, but he celebrates, with seriousness news, his return to the stage, after a month of forced rest. pic.twitter.com/z4pVci8Lbv

Aware of having pushed his limits, Muriel Robin’s sidekick admitted to being the only one “responsible” of his state of health. “I consider that I am still 18 and a half years old. Unfortunately that is not true […]” Despite this hard blow, Pierre Arditi does not intend to let himself be overcome by guilt. “I’m not going to change at my age, on the contrary! The life […] it’s an adventure from which you don’t come out alive. You have to burn your life […] I burn it a little less because I would like it to last a little longer”. That’s what it says!
